Cathy Gilpin

Cathy Gilpin (artistic signature “c.”) is the Resident Artist and creator of the interactive works for sale at Cogitate. Her works are highly imaginative and often surprise with their interactive qualities, unique design and specialised finishes.

Cathy created and refined the process that allows these interactive works to exist – a creation process that took 9 months of experimenting, testing and trials. The results are amazing in terms of both the ability of the process to allow reasonably heavy weight to be carried by the end product and the versatility of application on most surfaces of any shape. This lends itself to application on very large surface areas – such as a corporate foyer wall or common team area wall where both staff and clients alike can enjoy a spot of enjoyable right brain exercise activity while waiting for an appointment or trying to solve a problem.
